There has never a time in Ron’s life when he hasn’t been very active. He was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and spent most of his time surfing (since the age of 2), swimming, and playing all sports. By the age of 13, he was competing in surfing contests riding 15 to 20 foot waves on Oahu’s North Shore. Ron’s interest in golf began at age 10 as he caddied for his dad, an avid golfer, who currently works at the Stanford Golf Course and plays twice a week.
